Indi is the Director of Vraitch Vision. He is a qualified Dispensing Optician and worked in optics for nine years prior to acquiring the business eight years ago. This field of work is Indi’s passion, and he always pays a lot of attention to detail in whatever task is at hand. He’s very knowledgeable about the products available to you, and also regularly keeps up to date with industry news and developments.
Indi is an outgoing and lively personality, and is always happy to give patients as much time, advice and assistance as they need. To this end, he is known to be very thorough in working to reach the best possible outcome for each individual, no matter how long it takes!
Outside of work, Indi likes to play the dhol – a Punjabi drum – and is self-taught!
Jag is Indi’s wife, and is also a Dispensing Optician. She’s worked at the practice for four years, and is known for her ability to address and solve almost any problem that a patient might have with their eyewear.
Jag’s colleagues describe her as primarily being caring, patient and considerate in equal measure. She’s always incredibly well-informed about the different products that are suitable for different individuals, making her the ideal person to recommend and dispense your new eyewear.
Jag’s favourite pastime outside of work is to spend time with her three young nephews.
Emmily is one of our optical assistants, whose previous experience has stood her in good stead for her role here with us. She enjoys interacting with new and regular patients alike, and working out ways to solve their problems, particularly any issues they might be having with varifocals.
Emmily regularly goes the extra mile to help out or find a solution, and nothing is too much trouble for her. She is always keen to learn more about the lenses and frames we stock in practice, which helps her provide a top level of service to every patient. Her speciality is putting herself into each patient’s situation and identifying the best course of action for them.
Outside of work, Emmily is currently learning to play the piano (and thoroughly enjoying it)!
Jackie is one of a team of four optical assistants at Vraitch Vision. She’s worked here for eight years, and over that time has developed a great relationship and rapport with all our patients. She’s particularly good at working with children and their needs, which helps them to feel at ease when they come in for their eye examinations.
Jackie’s also well-practiced at inserting and removing contact lenses, so will be able to show you the ropes if you’re new to them and need a little help!
In her spare time, Jackie enjoys Zumba workouts.
Dawn has been with the practice for the past 15 years, and has been described by her team as ‘everybody’s friend’. She’s always conscientious in the work she does, and is extremely approachable.
Dawn is one of our four optical assistants, and is always on hand to provide advice or support to patients who might need it. She takes pride in everything she does, is consistently calm regardless of the situation, and never forgets people’s names!
Dawn has a young granddaughter whom she particularly enjoys spending time with outside of work; she also likes to go on long walks when she has a spare couple of hours!
Charlene is another of our optical assistants. She’s worked at Vraitch Vision for four years, but has an extensive professional history in optics. ‘Dedication’ seems to be Charlene’s middle name, and she has been known to come into the practice on her day off to attend to some work and help a patient!
Charlene may well be one of the first people you see when you come into practice – she’s the smiley, bouncy, bubbly character in the team! She’s very sociable and personable, and all the patients love her. She also has an organisational streak, and often takes it upon herself to keep things tidy and in order.
At home, Charlene has a young son who takes up most of her spare time, but she also enjoys socialising with friends when she has the chance!
Neil completes our team of optical assistants. He’s dedicated to always giving his patients the very best options for them, and likes to spend time really getting to know them and their needs and preferences. He likes to stay busy, and pays particular attention to keeping the frame displays neat and tidy.
Outside of work Neil is a keen bowler, and has played at county level. His favourite colour is orange – on ties, glasses, socks and even his glasses!
